Glaze Finish

Cabinet glazes are meant to highlight the different profiled edges on cabinetry doors, moldings and accent pieces. Applied to both cabinet stain and cabinet paint finishes, there are two types of glazes: wet or dry. In the wet glaze process, the glaze is sprayed onto the entire cabinet door and is then wiped off, remaining within the profiled areas, yet somewhat changing the overall finish color. With the dry glaze application, the cabinet glaze is hand-applied to only to the profiled areas, while the base color remains the same.
